What is the difference between Geofón elements and how can I tell them apart? Print

Since March 2025 we started to use a new, improved version of Geofón elements specifically designed for field recording use. This element has higher sensitivity (88 vs 80 V/m/s) and better dynamic range due to improved coil excursion. You can check if your Geofón element has the new version by looking at the top of the element inside – it should say „LOM 2.0“ on top.
